Artisans at Rocky Hill, A Gallery of Fine Works, proudly announces "Tis the Season for Jewels" A Seasonal Trunk Show, showcasing 5 area jewelry artists, their creations and their techniques. This new Holiday event will introduce visitors, not only to the latest creations by these talented ladies but, also provide the opportunity to meet the artists, enjoy the development of their work plus, purchase never before seen pieces. The Holiday Season is the perfect time of year for giving jewelry and custom creations can be made while you wait, or you may place an order, with delivery just in time for Christmas! The Trunk Show, with artists in attendance and demonstrating their talent, is Friday, December 4th from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., during First Friday Art Walk Fredericksburg. Refreshments will be served. Jewelry artists unveiling their never-before-seen pieces and demonstrating their unique talent in the Trunk Show are Cynthia Bloom of Austin, Melinda Collins of Kerrville, Janet Csanyi of Comfort, Nan Loeffler of Mason and Dottie Moon of Hye. Dottie Moon’s pieces can be recognized throughout the area. She designs one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces made from semi-precious gemstones, pearls, turquoise, coral and more, incorporating unique, high quality findings and charms. Melinda Collins creates kiln-fired porcelain tiles and pendants, stringing them on various materials to create unique necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Janet Csanyi works precious metal clay into pendants and earrings, which after firing, are 99.7% pure silver. Nan Loeffler’s whimsical and inspirational designs are created from sterling silver. Her beautifully designed and hammered finished pieces include pendants, necklaces and earrings. Cynthia Bloom designs high-quality unique pieces incorporating vintage materials such as antique crystals from Austria, Czechoslovakia and Italy plus, beads from war-shattered factories in Europe. "Tis the Season for Jewels" parallels two very special events in Fredericksburg, TX.: First Friday Art Walk Fredericksburg and Fredericksburg’s annual Christmas celebration. First Friday Art Walk Fredericksburg offers art lovers the opportunity to enjoy the offerings of ten wonderful galleries in Fredericksburg’s Historic Shopping District. Artisans is a proud participant and pioneer of the monthly gallery event. In addition, December 4th is also the kick-off of Fredericksburg’s community-wide Christmas celebration – which begins with a lighted parade at 6:00 p.m.
